Which is which location-black, gray & fresh tanks

Can someone help tell me which is the black & which is grey tank in this photo. Also I need to know where to find the fresh water tank. My Aladdin system isn't giving any readings so I'm installing a See Level system and need to know which tank is which for when I connect the sensors. Thanks.

Run water in the sink and see which tank fills up. My fresh water tank is white in color not black.

Our fresh tank is mostly enclosed.  I can only see part of it if I crawl into the middle bay passenger side and look toward the front on the ceiling.

Well I had a Captain Obvious moment that the tanks would match up to the emptying valves on the other side of the bus. Now I just have to find the fresh water frank and figure out how to get the sensor strip on it. Might require a younger & skinnier to get it done.  8)

Our water tank is translucent white and in the same bay as the HydroHot unit, curbside front, and just rearward of it.  The warmth of the proximal hydronics operation I think helps avoid freezing of the tank.  But our Monterey is likely different enough in design from your Marquis that you may not discover it there.  Hopefully another 2003 Marquis owner will chime in.

The fresh water tank on a 3 slide 2003 Marquis is in an insulated enclosure between the frame rails about even with your two front slides.

Thanks Gerald. Sounds like attaching a sensor strip to the outside of the fresh water tank may not be feasible.

Ours is a 2005 Monterey, so differences are very possible, so for what it is worth,... I installed the see-level system on our coach using it only for black and gray water.  Assuming that your water access and dump are on the drivers side of the coach, move to the opposite side (curb side) and there will be a hinged panel that is not so obvious.  You need to reach under the coach and unlatch the cover.  Behind that cover you have full access and can readily view the large pipe that goes into the black tank for the toilet.
This is also the side where our original sensors plug into the Aladdin.  I mounted our See-level sensors from this side.  Made the task a bit easier.  Follow See-Level instructions and tape the sensor in place first to try it before gluing permanently.

I had BCS install a SeeLevel system on my 2003 Monterey fresh water tank. They had to cut open a panel in the enclosure to get the sensor attached to the outside of the translucent tank. It worked but was a very labor intensive effort. At the time my Aladdin system on the fresh water was still working, just the grey/black had quit. Since then the fresh water also quit so I am glad I went to the expense of doing the fresh too.

Larry, do you recall how they accessed the fresh water tank? I have a guy coming who does on site repairs for me. The only method we have to get under the coach is to use the air bags. I'm thinking of his safety.

Access to the fresh water tank is from the basement not from under the coach.

The access to the fresh water tank on a 3 slide 2003 Marquis is from under the coach, not the basement because the basement compartments at the fresh water tank are shallow and attached to the slide.

They just crawled under the coach with it set at travel height. I think there was room for him to sit up beside the enclosure (with the drivers side slide out).

I apologize for being a PITA with this but is the grey rectangular object in this photo from under the driver's side front slideout the fresh water tank? thanks once again. This structure is just aft of the air tanks btw.
