Switches In Bays??
«
on:

Each bay door on my Marquis has a push button switch that appear to have no function. I thought they would shut off the associated bay light (if the master bay switch was on) but they don't. The folks at BCS said they were to illuminate a warning light telling me a bay door was open but that doesn't' seem to be the case either..
Can any one shed a light on these mystery switches??
Thanks.

Dick,
They are the sensors for an open bay door. I'm not sure of the wiring circuit but I'd check the bulb first. Mine is located in the warning light cluster across the top of the dash. Ignition needs to be on to activate the light.
