Merlin
I have towed a 2008 Chrysler T&C LTD 4.0 L w/ 6/spd tran. about 25,000 Mi. without damage to the transmission.  I used a Remco pump and a Roadmaster Invisabrake.  The initial experience wasn't uneventful as I wasn't aware that there was a bulletin out that the trans fluid had to be reduced from the stock 75 mm. to between 40 and 50 mm. to prevent frothing and heating. I also had to readjust the pressure sensor to stop false alarms.  The pump draws a fair amount of power so after several events of arriving at my destination with a dead toad battery I field fabricated a 12vdc from the coach trailer connector to the toads battery.  The umbilical cord connectors can get fouled with corrosion and road dirt so keeping them clean is important. My first season with this setup was problematic but avoidable with information that I didn't have from Camping World.

Knowledge is Power

Good Luck, Harold
