slide out problem
« on: September 22, 2010, 09:09:19 PM »
I have an '04 Monterey with 4 slides.   My problem is that one of the exterior locks on the main slide (LR) has been sticking and got bent.  I had to remove the black plastic mechanism cover in order to remove the lock to get it straightened out.  There are a number of plastic push "rivets" which hold the plastic cover in place.  Removing them pretty much destroys them.  Can anyone tell me where I can get a supply of these little plastic rivets?

This looks like them (in white, though): http://www.dyersonline.com/ap-products-almond-plastic-rivet.html

If you do a search on eBay for "plastic rivets", I'll bet one of those will be an exact match.

Check this thread in the Forum, http://forum.bacrallies.com/m-1272744450/s-5/highlight-slide+cover/#num5, then look up Willis Lott's email or number in the BAC or FMCA Directory;  he may be able to help.
