Surge protector
« on: January 16, 2016, 12:22:59 AM »
I assume the box located in with my power cord reel is a surge protector on my 2006 Monterey IV ?  and I do not need to purchase one for my coach.
Thanks

You should be good to go, Grant. My '05 Montclair IV has it in there.

Ditto on our '06.  It should say SurgeGuard on it, Grant.

You might check the model number, probably printed below the SurgeGuard name on the casefront, Grant, and look up more information about it on the company website.

http://trci.net/products/surge-guard-rv        and choose the "Auto Transfer" tab, or punch your model number into their search field.
