Has anyone traveled this road in a large coach before?  How was it? Any issues for a 40ft coach with toad?

I made the mistake of ignoring the warning signs and ended up sending my wife ahead in the toad with the walkie talkie to let me know when someone was coming. There was about 3 times my 40 footer needed the whole road in a sharp corner. I wouldn't do it again ... beautiful views though going down from Prescott.

On AZ89 from Wilhoit to Prescott is the worst stretch.  We drove it a few months ago in the pickup, not the coach, on a day-trip from the Pleasant Harbor RV Resort.  Going up the hill just barely out of Wilhoit, if memory serves me, there is a sign saying no vehicles over 40 feet allowed.  There are miles and miles of 10 mph and almost 150 degree corners with few places to turn out off the road for anything but a car, cycle, or pickup.  We passed a few bicycle riders but most of the traffic seemed to be fast little cars and faster yet motorcycles.  Even in my pickup I held up traffic and had to pull out six or eight times to let groups of four and five vehicles pass.

Obviously it can be done in a coach, but I would not take my coach through there after having seen it.

Thanks to all for the heads up.  We will not go that route.

Just  a slight correction on AZ 89 highway designations in AZ; AZ 89 runs from south of Congress to Prescott and then north to Ash Fork on I 40. The section between Congress and Prescott should be avoided in a coach. From Precott north to Ash Fork, it is a fairly straight and good road for a coach (last time I drove it).
AZ 89A runs from Prescott to Jerome, Sedona and joins I17/ I40 in Flagstaff. This one is not for coaches, although is very scenic in an auto.

Last year, on the way to Sedona, we took 89 from Ash Fork into Prescott but than picked up 109 which connected to I-17 just south of Sedona and for the most part it was just fine.
