Engine repairs
« on: September 19, 2016, 11:56:28 PM »
Should have posted this earlier, Steve told me how.  Had a new CAT 3126B installed last year at Freightliner in Chandler.  16 months later a small piece of silicon sealant broke loose and messed up two cylinders.  Silicon should not have been used on a fitting accessed by fuel.  Western CAT in Spokane, WA, fixed me up in a couple of weeks, rebored two cylinders, new head and some other stuff.  If you have engine problems with your CAT engine, highly recommend Western CAT in Spokane at the Broadway exit on I-90.
