I should be able to figure this one out and at some point this winter I will pull the unit down enough to make the change. Thanks for the offer to pull one but that is not necessary. 6 years would be a long retention time, mine is maybe 6 minutes now on a good day.... sounds like a nice cozy setting with the dogs at the foot of the bed, one can see the need for the fan system improvement.
