Battery Charging
« on: April 18, 2017, 09:37:48 PM »
Went out to the Beaver today and found the house batteries dead. Started the gen, put my jumper battery on the house batteries and they started charging. All normal. Checked the (RC7?) Inverter-battery monitor and it showed absorption charge. After about an hour and a half, I checked the monitor again and it was bouncing between float and bulk and back to float-the Aladdin was bouncing around too-it showed 18-40a charge, but bouncing around just like the monitor panel. the charge light on the monitor panel would blink rapidly for about 3 sec then go solid. The full charge led was also lit. Any Xantrex 2512 experts out there? Did I toast my batteries? (4x GC2).
