tv will not go up
« on: September 12, 2017, 02:35:55 AM »
I have a 2006 Beaver Marquis.. Came out to get things ready for us to stay in coach after Hurricane went by and we had no power in house. I started gen and the tv came down on its own and now it will not go up. when I push up or down hear click but motor does not run. It works fine but just will not go up. Appreciate any suggestions.

This was a few years ago:  We did not have the same complicating issues that you mentioned, i.e., no power and auto coming down, but we did have a TV that intermittently would not come down and not go up.  I replaced the momentary switch that moves the TV up and down, and it's never been a problem again.

I had something similar happen two years ago.  The most visible problem was that the TV lift was acting possessed.  Also had strange issues with the inverter (error lights, etc).  Long story short is that this seemed to happen when the coach batteries got very low.  Had new coach batteries installed and no problems since then.
