2008 Patriot Thunder No Power to Both Hose Reels
« on: May 04, 2018, 11:17:56 PM »
I checked the breakers located above each switch and did not have power to either. I have looked for a fuse for the hose reels but have not located one.

Michael, our 07 Contessa has the fuse for our electrical reel in the rear electric panel located behind the rear wheels. It is number hf-2 and is a 20 amp fuse. Yours might be different but a good place to start.

Just for info my 06 PT has a auto reset breaker in the rear run box that powers the reels.  Of course they never build any of these coaches the same so your could be anywhere.

Thanks for your responses.  I'm new to Beaver Coaches.  I had our Mountain Aire for three years and had it mostly figured out.  Nothing like a new set of "challenges" to make life more interesting.

Bryan - is the electrical panel in your coach that's located behind the rear wheels in the closet?
Lee - I don't know what the "rear run box" looks like or where it's located.

Michael, the rear electrical panel is not in the closet. It is located outside at the last access door. Your Big Boy battery isolator and Bird control are located.

Problem solved !  The Big Boy Box on my 08 is in the engine compartment on the right side.  I had not remembered that fuses were located in that box.  Much to my surprise the 15 amp slow blow fuse was laying on the floor of the box.  Two quick crimps on the female connectors made my wife a much happier person.  Hooking up shore power is one of her camp jobs.  Thank you for your help.

That is your Rear Run Box, on my Pt all the 12 volt power goes through, all the high amp breakers and controllers ,the motor run circuit boards and such.

I call it my basement battery bay because the first thing I see when I open the door is eight batteries.
