Looking to switch to DISH
« on: September 13, 2018, 03:56:16 PM »
We are fed up with DirecTV and are looking to switch.  Have a question for those who do have DISH.  Does DISH have HBO and NHL Center ICE available?  I tried to find out on their website but the chat person was so interested in selling me the service they didn't read my messages.  They just kept pumping sales blurbs onto the chat window.  Thanks in advance for the help!

DISH has HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz-Encore, Starz, Netflix and other ON-Demand channels, YouTube, Epix, Golf Channel, South East Conference (SEC), Big10, Pac12, Longhorn Conference (LHN), Reginal Sports Networks (RSN), ESPN On Demand (VOD), several ESPN channels, two Fox Sports channels (FoxS1 & FoxS2),  a couple Major League Baseball channels (MLBN & MLBSZ), a couple National Football League channels (NFL & NFLRZ), NBATV, National Hockey League Network (NHLN), CBSSN, NBCSP, several Pay-Per-View Sports channels (SPORT),... and probably more which I have not happened to come across.

Some of these are included in various DISH packages, many are premium to the various packages.  For example, I pay $10(?) per month each for the GOLF channel and the local channels, in addition to the DISH Top 250 GOLD package with a Hopper/two Joeys in the house and a Hopper/Joey in the coach.  Our total DISH package costs about $160 per month.  The satellite dish on the coach is the R.F. Mogul Eagle III automatic-seeking unit.

The newer Hopper/Joey systems can connect to your WIFI where ON-Demand movies, sports, Porn, religious,... - you name it, almost anything is available.
