Has anyone experienced their Coach constantly flashing and will not burn steady

A bad ground, hot lead, electric bay ignition solenoid or relay in the circuit, or an alternator going bad.  Check output at the chassis batteries with the engine running to eliminate or identify an alternator issue.

Okay, maybe the relay is bad allowing current to pass without a signal from the switch.  But I’ve had headlight switches fail, so I might check for a loose wire behind that that’s shorting across.  Either way or something else, the flashing or intermittency implies a loose or carbon-arcing connection.

Gary,
To me it sounds like a Smartwheel related problem. As Jim stated, it could be a clock spring issue, or several other problems in the Smartwheel system. It turned out to be a bad headlight switch. Changed out switch and problem went away

They do not get enough THANK YOU's. Sad part of this whole situation when you leave owning a Beaver and get another brand - You do not have this data base that is so willing to help and has the knowledge to actually be a help. These guys do not guess, they know and are willing to spend their time helping. Nothing better in this world than that.
