Hi All

With fall approaching, its cooling off here on the coast. We turn on the furnace and it heats up but after awhile it starts to blow cold air, we shut it down and restart after five minutes and it heats up but then starts to blow cold air after 15 minutes. It's a Suburban NT-42T. Thanks.

Jason,
Sounds like the burner is going out. Could be caused by a number of things per manual (attached) including intermittant 12v, burner needs PM, lockout, etc.

Jason,
Before you start throwing parts at it, suggest you contact the Mfgr's Service Center and describe symptoms. They can either diagnose problem or refer you to a qualified repair facility. Service Center contact info is on last page of the manual.

Jason, If I remember correctly the vent tube for the gas furnace use to rust a lot and you have to clean that with a round brush so that the flame will continue to stay lit. The rust falls down the tube and sits blocking the sensor so the flame goes out. Also make sure the tube is clear so that the exhaust can get up and out.  As Steve said it takes maintenance every year to keep it running properly, sometimes more than once if it sits parked a lot.

Thanks, I will take a look at that. I believe the coach sat for quite some time.
