Kitchen Chairs 2008 Patriot thunder
« on: March 16, 2011, 03:13:54 AM »
We recently purchased a 2008 Patriot Thunder, but the kitchen chairs are missing. We need two. The color is Mawson Taupe and the fabric is 606778. We have contacted Monaco, the service center in Bend and the manufacturer, Rem Industries. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion is if you do not find two chairs, find someone who has the chairs you want, get pictures and measurements from them. Find a GOOD wood craftsman who makes furniture. He/she can then make you two chairs almost identical to the chairs that came with the coach. Find upholstery you like or see if they still make that fabric pattern. Order/buy fabric and get the chairs upholstered.

I use my Beaver table in my house. I only have 2 chairs and need 2 more. I have not been able to beg, steal, buy two chairs like them. Now that we have found a great wood craftsman in Cocoa, Florida, next winter we will be getting him to make us two more chairs. Then I will get all 4 upholstered in the same fabric.

Good Luck, Connie B.

http://www.braddandhall.com/productcart/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=52 Maybe a cheaper alternative is a company like Bradd and Hall. The link is for some close out chairs but they have a lot of choices.

Ron,
Northwest RV Supply in Eugene Oregon has a lot of surplus/obsolete Monaco parts, so it might be worth a call to them. Otherwise Greg Fulton, the woodworking expert (former Beaver factory cabinet maker), who works with RV Outfitters in Bend Oregon, can make you any chair that you need, and Elaine (former factory upholstery specialist for 16 years) can cover them with the fabric of your choice.

When I changed out our booth dinette with table and chairs. I wanted swivel chairs, so I bought two swivel bar stools with back rests,  I also got the ones that will not return back to center position. I cut the legs off at the foot rest, Makes them very stable. They are not big as the chairs that come with the coach, gives more room and they are comfortable.  Email me if you would like to see pics.  jgard489@gmail.com
