Fluid samples

Just had fluid samples drawn by RING Power in Ocala, FL. $12.75 each vs $20-$30/ea + SH with JG Lubricant. They'll do my annual LOF too. All RING locations will honor that price I'm told.

That's a good price. I pay $25 a sample now through Blackstone Labs.
Do you live in central FL or are you just down for the winter?

FT'r but  spend a month or so in FL. I bet any truck shop would be similar. They drew the samples (differential too) and will email results to discuss.

Jeff, how much for the LOF?  This Ring Power in Orlando wanted 700 or there abouts for LOF.  Just cost me a little under 400 at Alliance.  I got that, the generator serviced and the yearly on the HH for under a 1K and was happy!  kind of!  Nice meeting you by the way!  I gave the club info to the couple in the Contessa next to me.  Stay safe.

LOF $400-$450 incl filters, which I buy from them any way ($90 for oil & 2 fuel). It's as much about the price as the time involved. EMS download and 4 samples drawn in under 1 Hr. Went back for to replace Atmospheric Pressure Sensor in and out in less than 1 hour. Nice to meet you too. The power of BAC. See ya on the road.

That's a good price. I'm not sure how much oil your C9 holds, but my C13 is 10 gallons (40 qts).

I changed my oil myself and it cost over $250 just for the oil (I use Rotella T6) https://www.walmart.com/ip/Shell-Rotella-T6-5W-40-Full-Synthetic-Heavy-Duty-Diesel-Engine-Oil-1-gal/102646780? and the fuel and oil filters are easily another $50 (not including the $100 for air filter). It took me a lot longer than hour to to do the work (so figure at least $200 in labor for a truck shop) - and then there is a hassle of disposing of the old oil.

Exactly, my time is worth something + as a FTer, where would I do this and dispose of the oil (7.5G). No air filter in that price.
