All awning switch
« on: February 28, 2019, 04:22:22 PM »
I posted this question on the wrong site so am reposting.  My All Awning Down switch light is on all the time weather the awnings are down or up.  I tried the salesman switch and the light goes out but comes back on when I turn that switch back on.  It does not hurt anything just annoying, any thoughts would be appreciated.  The awning work as they are suppose to.

Rocky,
Sound like a bad switch. Many of the "lighted" switches turn on when the switch is place in the ON position, regardless of the state of the item it's controlling. You can check by removing all the wires on the switch except power and ground. If switch still lights in ON position, it's faulty.

I like Steve's idea - but if that doesn't work maybe try to unplug the module (even use some contact cleaner like DexoIT) and replug.
