Door Lock

I have been chasing an intermittent door locking problem for awhile. The solenoid would intermittently lock and unlock the door. Cleaning the spring contacts seem to help, so I did not look deeper. Yesterday after cleaning the contacts, the lock still did not function, so I pulled the contactor in the door frame. I found that the wiring harness was very short, and one of the push on connectors was loose, and just resting on the stud. It also fit very poorly, so I crimped it tighter and slipped it back on. Thought I would pass this along in case someone else might have been chasing the same issue. Hope this helps.
