Our C9 400hp was part of an upgrade package from Monaco.  The basic engine was a 350 C9.  The 400 was an option.

We were told they had too many (Montereys at least) in the works by late 2006, so they went back and made some options part of a free “Super Savings Package” to encourage sales.  The 350 CAT programmed/configured to 400hp was a common option, as was a HydroHot and a 32” LCD TV;  our package consisted of those three separately option valued at nearly $16,000.  Tom may have caught one sold early that wasn’t part of that lot.

On our build sheet that LCD TV was +$5k. Replaced it with a $130 Samsung Smart TV.

The ABS ECU on my coach is Bendix. I will post a picture at later date.
