12 Volt test battery

  Enclosed please find a picture of my portable 12 volt test battery. I made a jumper wire with 2 male spade connectors so I can plug it into the 12volt battery from my Bosch screw gun. The black arrow is the "positive" connection. You can use almost any portable drill or screw gun out there so long as it is 12volts. Great portable source for testing 12volt systems independent of the coach 12volt power. Examples would be interior lights, ceiling vents, door lock actuators, ect.
   CAUTION: Never use this test equiptment on an Intellitech multiplex system. If you are not comfortable or confident testing systems, this may not be for you. You "motor heads" out there will find all sorts of reasons to use it.

Thought of that myself, but my cordless tools are 4v, 9v, 18v, and 20v, darn it!

Fred, Great idea, I have pretty much every M12 tool Milwaukee makes have to check out the battery for this purpose, never really looked at the battery just plug'em into the charger.

  Another application to use the battery is to keep the memory of the ECM when changing a chassis battery. This keeps the transmission from having to "learn" all over how you drive. It also keeps your favorite stations on your radio memory.

Fred, I kept one of my AGM chassic batteries when I changed them out a couple years ago, I use it pretty often around here when I need 12volts for something.
