Aqua hot technician needed

Brother has a 1996 marquis...
We are in Arizona at this time.
Have been working on Aqua-Hot for some time but she will still not fire.
Went through the manual for starting sequence... control box...
Installed new one.  Still no fire.
Any techs around in Arizona?

Arizona is about 14% larger than Oregon.  You will want a technician from near your RV's location.  I have used Accurate RV as well for some maintenance issues  -  Norcold fridge, etc.

I forgot that I had the following service instruction on one of my iPads.  It’s 10 years old but still relevant, and it may offer enough guidance to where you may not have to pay for a tech.  It could be just a “gunked up” float switch or low fluid, common issues covered in the article.

Have you aligned the electrodes? If so, you can try firing it with the end of the burner chamber off. Be careful as it will shoot out a good flame when it fires but it also allows you to see what is going on. I had to do this with the unit in my 01 to find that I had a faulty electrode that wasn't firing. Just be very careful. It shoots the flame straight out from  the nozzle (assuming you have a new/good nozzle).

Note:  I do not know the symptoms of your Aquahot's failure.

When I had our Aquahot "annual-ed" in Idaho Falls last September, it was noted by the technician that the burner chamber was very sooty and the flame sensor was also covered with soot.  When I described the symptoms of the Aquahot's failure, he suspected the reason it would fire up and run for only a few minutes was because the flame sensor was unable to see that the burner had ignited.  Thus the flame sensor, seeing no flame, thought the burner had failed to ignite.  Without a flame, the Aquahot SHOULD shut down and stop spewing diesel into the burn chamber.

Guess I should give a little more info😁
New nozzle, aligned electrodes, checked photo cell, new aqua stats, filter, new coil, new control box, .
Cleaned burner tube, tested new nozzle spray, checked electrodes with fuel pump disconnected, worked good.  I was thinking of trying the test you mentioned couple of days ago (saw a video of it on YouTube a couple of days ago) but thought “wow” that’s a lot of flame!
Well... I’ll maybe wait on that... well maybe tomorrow...

Four or five years ago we were having problems getting our Aquahot to fire up and stay fired up.  Sometimes it would fire up, sometimes it wouldn't, and the problem was getting worse.  I had it "annual-ed" at that time.  The technician had to replace both the Wabasto control box and the ignition coil to make it work without failure.  At the time, the coach was under an extended warranty which we purchased when purchasing the coach  -  $5,000 for a 4-year warranty.  The warranty company had a guy come to the technician's place to make sure the requested parts and labor were necessary.  The technician had to put the Aquahot back together and try to fire it up to prove the parts were needed to fix the problem.  As I stated, the problem was intermittent.  It took about 30 or 40 starts to finally get a mis-start.  The warranty representative immediately said "get the parts" once the Aquahot mis-started.  I remember the technician telling me we were lucky it mis-started because in the heat of the summer afternoon, it would likely usually start okay.  But trying to start it on a cold morning or in the cold season, it would likely not start.
