Aisle Lights

My coach has a number of aisle lights throughout.  They are controlled by switches on either side of the bed and a third switch on the dash.  Only one of the four or five lights work (the one that illuminates the footwell at the door).

There is no power to the other four.  I assume the fuse is good (although, for the life of me, I can't find it).  Any suggestions?

I know a lot about electricity.  I just don't understand all I know😕

If the 4 that don't work are controlled by switches in the multiplex switch panels, check the fuses at the multiplex control boxes. If not, and assuming your elec. layout is similar to my Contessa, there is another fuse box in the panel by the multiplex controllers that has fuses for inside DC circuits.

I can't imagine how it can be a fuse if one of the lights works.

I have searched the black control panels for the fuse, but cannot find one for the aisle lights.  I have checked the non working bulbs in the one live socket, and they all work, so it's not the bulbs.  Frustrating.

Bob, these sound like what I'd describe as courtesy lights, perhaps not part of the Multiplex system.  The ones in the entry well are on the porch light circuit, which is fuse 7 in the 10 amp one's in a separate box with the other circuit boxes behind our toilet. 

Your Marquis may be differently configured than our Monterey, but it's conceivable the other lamps in question are in that same box on a different circuit - perhaps one that on ours is unused and marked "Open", since we don't have bedroom courtesy lights.  Have you popped the lid and checked fuses in any small black box akin to ours?

Thanks Joel. I'm pretty sure that the aisle lights I'm having trouble with are controlled by the multiplex system. The lights are controlled by multiplex switches labeled " Aisle Lights".

I can find two multiplex panels in the coach.  The aforementioned one in the bathroom, and a second one above the driver's seat side window.  I'm darned if I can find the aisle light fuse in either of these places. 

The bulbs are all good.  There is power to only one of the 6 sockets.  Can't imagine how this is possible in the same multiplex circuit.  Clearly, there is something I am not understanding about this system.   

I have a similar hard-wire fuse block in my bathroom, but these fuses are all good and don't seem to have anything to do with the aisle lights.  The one light that is working is near the stair well, but is different from the ones actually in the well.

With help from the forum, I'll eventually figure it out.
