I decided that today was a good day to clean my rear mounted radiator, and the side mounted CAC. Both have been working fine, just doing some preventive maintenance. The Radiator seemed to be in good over all condition. The CAC had a some bent fins in the areas that were in line with the side vents. I straightened them out reasonably well, and cleaned the CAC with simple green and lots of water. It does not appear to be in as good of shape over all as the Radiator, so I thought I might start looking for a replacement before I actually need it. Hopefully picking up one at a bargain price.
So does anyone know what CAC Beaver/Safari used on a 1998 Patriot Savannah with a 330 hp Cat 3126?
The sticker on it has faded so bad it is not readable. The out side of the frame is about 18 inches tall by 20 1/2 inches wide. There are four rows of cooling tubes inside the fins.
