A/C filter replacement 2007 Marquis?
« on: June 06, 2021, 05:00:50 AM »
Hi everyone,

One more Q that I feel dumb asking about - but can't seem to figure out where the filters for the A/C units would be.  The air is blowing slowly (3 dometic a/c heat pump units);  in our previous Thor coach it was in the ceiling under the units.   Can't seem to figure out how to get to them in this coach - for whatever reason the pages on the A/C unit are missing in my manual - I have a feeling they are in the roof units and that is where I need to go...

    Anand,
The decorative ceiling panel hinges downward. You have to remove the screws that secure the panel on the drivers side hidden just inside between the ceiling and panel. You will need a short step ladder to see them. Next you need to lift slightly to disengage the "J" brackets to allow the panel to swing downward. You will need another person to help you because this is really awkward and heavy. Once it is hanging there, You can remove the filters and clean them. Hope this helps, Fred

Thanks.  Had no idea that they came down, the rear one has a ceiling fan in it.  Does that come down with the panel?
