Just added Dave's response to a question about starting your engine during an extended storage period. Ask Dave is in the technical section of the BAC Web Site available to members.

Thanks for posting that, Steve.  Dave already answered that when I asked because ours has sat by the house since fall of 2016, but newer owners here will appreciate the information.  As per his and others’ advice back then, it hasn’t been started since.  If we finally get past repetitive medical appointments this year, I hope to start it up and fully warm it on the road.  It sure has been tempting to hear that wondrous C9 come to life again. Only the HydroHot and generator have been exercised though, with regular fuel top-ups so there’s no airspace in the tank to collect moisture.

It may not be the C9 I need to worry about, but rather an air, hydraulic, or brake system that’s been stagnant so long.
