Chassis battery wiring
« on: September 27, 2024, 06:37:59 PM »
I am replacing my chassis batteries and I thought I took a picture of the battery cable placement but it is not on my phone so------I am replacing two 12v chassis batteries that I seem to recall were wired in series ( positive to negative ). I am replacing the battery cables as well and have disposed of the old cables thinking I did not need them for reference. New batteries are 950 cold cranking amps. 99 Marquis Cat C-12. Thanks

If you wire in series, it will be 24volts. NOT what you want to do. Good luck!
