Another look at it....... If your coach is like ours, then the doors open outwards and their bottom edges swing up vertically, and what sticks on one side of the door when opening it is the retractable nylon catch about half way between the top door hinge and the bottom of the door. The catch is not mechanically adjustable, but the catch's receiver can be moved a bit or the nylon leading edge can be filed down to shorten it. Usually what I find to be successful in opening the doors is to make sure I lift the door latch completely up as high as it will go to fully retract the nylon catch.
Note: Our coach's curbside slide basement door is farther to the rear and its door is a double-wide panaflex style bus basement storage door. It also catches on one side and is difficult to open.
