Our new sofa is a real hide-a-bed that measures 60X72 and is an air mattress over a box spring platform. Marty

Thank you Larry. I was a little reluctant to give up ultra-leather for fabric (thought it was going backwards) but the new one is more comfortable to sit and lay on not to mention warmer. Marty

I know leather is supposed to be the height of luxury...I hate it. I hope to get ours changed out for a fabric hide a bed eventually.

Katie & Tim, I can't find a name tag on the couch. We special ordered it from Countryside Interiors of Juction City, OR. 541-998-6541. We have had it almost 11 months now and our daughter and son in law have slept on it several times and say it is quite comfortable to sleep on. Marty

Marty & Suzie,

I'm not familiar with your floorplan so these may not be the best questions.

What is opposite your new couch?
Did you have to remove anything else to make room (opposite the new couch)?
When the couch is extended can you walk around it to get out of the coach?

Thanks, Steve & Cathy

Steve, Our MH is a 40ft. Thunder with the Monticello floor plan, kitchen and bedroom slide. It is a front entry (darn). Just back from the door and across from the couch is a small cabinet about 18in. wide and 28in. tall. The slide has to be out for the bed to unfold all the way. I do have to move the ottoman and lounger back towards the table. No you can't walk around the bed when it is extended, there is maybe 4-5in. We only had to remove the old couch.
Richard, the old couch came apart in 5 pieces and the new came in 4. They all fit through the front door without removing anything else. It is held down to the slide floor in the same way as the old one was(4 lag screews). There is no storage drawer under the new one. We special ordered it to get a fabric to match interior colors. The cost was about $1600. and that included installation. I had removed the old one and was able to sell it for $300.
