I had similar issue with delam beneath Girard awning. Mine showed up in toilet box wall. Found source of moisture was rivets that hold awning to coach wall. a liberal application sealant stopped leak. I also replaced interior wall with paneling. I didn't get anywhere nearly the amount of exterior bulge you are experiencing however.
