Jim,
I am not positive whether or not your '03 uses the same Ford expansion tank (27" long / 6" wide / 3.5" deep) that the 2000 to 2002 Marquis does, but if it is the same tank, IHTC (http://www.ihtc.net/) makes a metal tank that is reported to be a direct replacement for the Ford tank that is very prone to cracking. I think that the IHTC part number is 11996T.

Thanks Gerald, you are exactly right. I went to ford and the tank did not match. I have it temporarily patched and I'll order the metal tank.

Thanks a million and one times
Jim

The only place that I know of that you can get a tank for an 03 Marquis is Beaver Coach sales.  The last time I was there they had only a few left, and did not know if they would have a replacement available.  Mine is also cracked, but has not started to leak yet.  I did buy a replacement and carry it with me.

Is this the same tank used on the 2000 PT???  I looked at the website but could not find that product.

Dick and Pat I had a 2000 PT and I'm quit sure it's not the same. Jim
