We just purchased 6 new Hercules tires from our friendly tire shop here in Victorville, CA.  They are made by Cooper tire and are stamped "Made in China" on them.  In the tire guy's opinion he says they are good tires and never had a complaint against the tire.  The tires are about half the price of the ones I've checked on; Goodyear, Michelin, Toyo, and Bridgestone.  Based on my age he said the tires would out last me.  So far, the tires have behaved very well.  Time will tell.  The tires I bought were not the biggest ones but were metric 275-70 22.5 on a 30,000 GVW.  Hope this helps.

Just picked up 2 steer tires through the FMCA Michelin plan yesterday and didn't know what I was paying until I just checked my credit card statement on-line. So is $1162 or ($581 each) a good deal? Mounting and balancing was an additional $132. The place where I got them quoted me a sale price of around $626 (that's with CA tax included)
