Can I replace the 6 6volt coach batteries, with 3  12volt deep cycle  batteries ??
Here in Baja, I cannot find 225 amp/hr 6 volt batteries.

Technically you can. What you give up is Amp Hour capacity and battery life (plates are much heavier in 6V golf cart batteries). If you have a bad 6V battery that is dragging the bank down, you could also run on a bank of 4, until you can get to a location that has one for replacement. If you rarely use the battery capacity of the bank and always stay plugged in at night, it might not be all that much of an issue.  Sometimes boon docking cannot be helped in a pinch.

I second Ed's comments.  If can get by with a reduced capacity you're much better off sticking with the 6V batteries.

Hi Dick and Ed,
your comments are noted. I have to watch electrolyte levels and hope for the best till March when I return to the USA. The batteries have been loosing electrolyte faster than normal.Voltages are up to 15 when on the road. I suspect the plates are heavily sulphated.

At 15 volts your batteries are being cooked.  You may have abad regulator on your alternator or a bad battery/cell.  If your AC charger also puts out 15 volts, you can pretty safely say it's a battery/cell.

Jeremy, I forgot when I replied to your earlier post, but there is a Costco in Cabo, and I think there is a Sam's Club. Maybe one of them will have what you need.

Hi Robert,
you are correct. It was at Costco I saw the 12 volt deep cycle batteries. They do have 6 volt deep cycle 220amp  but the price was 1700 pesos or approx $130 !!! I am going to try to live with the batteries I have for now and change them when we get back to the good old USA next March. Thanks,  Jeremy
