Just finished replacing the bath fan and noted a couple of things that may be helpful for others doing the same. The original fan was a B2000. Called Fantastic Fans and they said they didn't make a direct replacement anymore, but recommended a 6000 upgrade unit. The original only exhausted air out of the coach where the 6000 has a reverse switch so you can exhaust or pull air into the coach. Nice feature. The new unit also had the dome switch mounted on the face of the fan panel.
If you have a remote turn on switch, you remove the wires from the dome switch on the new panel and tie them to the wires (orange) from the remote switch (polarity not important here). Where you need to be careful is at the speed control switch. The original B2000 had 2 black wires running to the switch. One goes to the motor, the other is 12V. Tie off the 12V wire; you don't need it. The wire going to the motor will get hooked to the motor reversing switch on the new unit. You may need to add an extension to make connection with the switch. The other area to watch is the dome control wiring. The dome control wire on my old unit was tied to ground. Do not tie the new dome control wire (white) to the old wire unless you want to blow fuses/CB. Remove the old wire tie it off. It isn't needed. Connect the new unit's white wire to the dome terminal.
The dome motor housing has been modified such that the mating of the motor gear sleeve to the dome assy spine is marginal. I had to shim the motor up inside the housing (couple of popsicle sticks) to ensure a good connection. Fantastic Fans was helpful, once they got back to me.
