Two Questions: sliding door and wiring diagrams
« on: June 11, 2014, 02:52:11 AM »
Number one: My sliding screen door needs a hand assist to open everytime I come in. Is there an answer before I break it?
Number 2: Is there such a thing as Beaver Wiring Diagrams for SMC age Coaches? I had a full set of wiring diagrams for my 94 Safari Sahara

Gary,
There's a Sticky with a set of wiring diagrams for a Marquis in the Members Only section. Will be very close to a Pat.

Hello Gary!
As per your sliding screen door, you must keep the tracks clean, clean, clean, at all times.  This is hard to do when it is getting constantly walked on.  We had the same screen on our '98 Pat Monticello, as well, and we couldn't get it out of there fast enough!  It was such a pain to deal with and never did, in my opinion, give anyone quick access into or out of the coach.  It was a poor idea on Beaver's part and cheap to boot!  Our plan was to have a screen door made to fit but that never did come to fruition.  Too many other more important things to deal with always came up instead!  LOL!

I have been in my coach for over 11 years and really like the sliding screen door. Have replaced the screen twice do to wear. Just keep the track clean and lub with silicone spray. There is nothing really complicate with the screen.  No wiring diagrams available.

Thanks I will copy and paste the diagram and for the screen door Joel I will try silicone as the top is what is sticking. I clean the small rocks and dirt from the bottom often. I sprayed the top rail and slider and it is working so far. I will keep a can of silicone close by.
