My unit has been sitting for 2 1/2 months with the unit plug into 110 ac  the inverter has been on the house battery's are ok but the engine battery are down to 5volts  if the inverter is not set up to charge the engine battery's how much of a draw should I see with the coach not in use?    The inverter is a freedom combi inverter/charger model20

Your chassis batts should be charging, have you checked fluid level, or probably a bed cell.  Henry

Glen your inverter will not charge the chassis batteries You need to add an echo charger or a bird charger. Xantrex makes an echo charger they are about 125 dollars now days. It is easy to hook up you need to wire one wire to house batteries one wire to chassis batterys and one wire to ground. I mounted mine next to the isolator under the bed and there are 3 lugs on the isolator center draws power from the alternator the other two are for the two battery banks. When the house batterys get fully charged it charges the chassis batteries. (it is not a charger just directs the inverter to do that.
