Anyone have firestone tire experience?
« on: July 15, 2015, 07:37:16 PM »
I just purchased two Firestone tires for the front of the coach. One of the goodyears had a bad wear issue. I did not know firestone made the RV sizes. These are 275/70/22.5.  They are considerably cheaper. I got them through my local small tire shop. Total cost was $940 for two, including tax, mounting, and bead balance. They look good!

When we bought our Holiday Rambler, before the Beaver, the dealer installed brand new Firestone tires all around. We had that coach for 2 years and no issues with the tires.

Mine came with Firestones when I purchased it 2 years ago.  Not knowing the history of the tires and since they were six years old, last year I bought all 6 new for just over $2300.  All the new tires had a 14/14 date on them and I am very happy with the ride.  The wear on the old tires was even and they had enough tread left that they gave me $50 trade-in on each tire.
