We had the dayshade power curtain fail about a year ago. When it began showing intermittent issues I thought it was the switch, so I got a new one from BCS - about $30. When the problem became solid I replaced the switch with the new switch. It was not the switch. The motor was the problem. After some research I found the manufacturer and had to remove the shade from the coach and send it to Salt Lake City (I think it was) to have the defective motor replaced - about $150 all in. At that time I was warned the motor was obsolete and had been out of production since before 2010, but after some searching the manufacturer's representative found two in the whole USA. He got the one from California for my replacement.
Unfortunately, all this happened before I updated to my current cell phone, so I don't have the pictures that showed the labels on the curtain. Anyways, after I removed the curtain I found a sticky label placed into the upper track that got me started on finding the manufacturer.
