HWH vs Elkhart Repair Facility?
« on: July 07, 2017, 05:21:07 AM »
We continue to have an issue with our driver side loosing air when leveled. Our AIR only HWH leveler works fine when initially leveling. However shortly later the DS sags, HWH kicks in and re-levels the coach, then in 30-60 mins, same thing again. We've been to Alliance, Triple T, Henderson and BCS. They each replace something that is identified as leaking, yet the problem persists. We will be passing through Moscow Iowa and Elkhart Indiana on our way through NY. MY QUESTION IS Am I better off trying to get into HWH or is there a better recommendation in Elkhart?

The folks at HWH are great to deal with. Knowing that we were going to be in the area last month, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment to make sure that there were no leaks and that everything was working as it should. They got right to it and found everything sound. There was no charge! Who does that? Been there several times before and can't say enough good things about the experience.
One of the crew had brought in a taco buffet for lunch and invited us to join in!

I've had great service from Stuart's HWH Service, I get all my HWH parts from them was faster than HWH. I've had a couple different air switches that leaked with my rear leveling, the switch will leak out of the set screw hole on the side and usually will not bubble with soapy water unless you hold your finger over the hole, had a real hard time finding that leak.

I went to HWH in Iowa recently as I was tired of my coach sagging after a few days.  They replaced the O-rings in all the solenoids and one solenoid .  Located a few hose leaks and recalibrated my leveling sensor.  My coach now will go 5 to 6 weeks without going out of level and 2 to 3 weeks before losing appreciable tank pressure,  It was worth every penny for repairs and trip costs to get it done right.

We would go to HWH in Moscow, Iowa. Please make sure you call ahead and make an appointment.
We have had very good luck going to the factory there for service and would recommend it over other facilities.
They do have four electric parking spots at the front of the building and some more spots around the building to the south if you have to spend the night.
Good luck on your repairs.

HWH all the way! We had our SMC hydraulic jacks removed and a custom air system installed and tied in with the airbags a few years ago. We stayed right in the Motorhome on the drive on lift for 2 days while it was being worked on.
