Our engine has a 30 minute idle time cut out.  Who knew!!!

I'm glad you found out, and that it was just a setting and not something wrong. Those manufacturers can do come strange things when someone isn't keeping an eye on them.

Cat engines do have a idle timer.  I have mine set to 10 min. and shut down to let my turbo cool.  I had to have Cat set it for me
