fantastic fan

Had both of my fantastic fan replaced. One in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. Now that the weather is nice I turned them on, Both will not work with the switch, You must turn them on at the unit. I guess there is a wire running from power on the switch to the fan. Any ideas?

Did you set the thermostat on the Fan to a "cool" setting.
If I set the thermostat so the fan runs when the air temp is cool, the fan will come on and go off at the wall switch (with the On/Off switch on the Fan set to On). But if the Fan thermostat temp is set too high it will not come on via the wall switch or the switch on the fan.

   George,
Do you mean when you turn on the remote fan switch (on the wall or underneath the cabinet) the lid does not raise? If they installed the equivalent Fantastic fan that you had, maybe they did not connect the orange wire coming from the remote switch. Hope this helps, Fred

Thanks, I check on the orange wire. Yes, this helps a lot.
