The advertised dry weight of a early 2004 40' Beaver Monterery Newport, based on a sticker in the rear closet, was 31,900. They provided that by saying the cargo carrying capacity was 900 pounds on a "typical" model. The GVWR was 32,800. I didn't know anything about motorhomes until after I joined the BAC, so I thought that was at least good enough. The second half of the production year, the GVWR was 35,800 because they started using a 23,000 pound rear axle.
The actual dry weight, based on weighing, was 33,000. No other paper, placard, brochure or spec sheet provide an empty dry weight. Beaver didn't do that then.
