flush ball repair

I just repaired the seal on the flush ball. The white plastic pieces that are used to hold the bold to the base do not come to a complete circle. Both ends do not touch. I just touch one end and let the other have a cap. Is that OK?

George, That is by design so as when you tighten the clamp the inside taper can compress the new seal. Fred

Great though I mess up. Then Job is complete on to changing gold handrails and AC vent to brushed nickel.

George, Let the adventure continue. Just a suggestion, can you include your coach information in your profile so we can help. Blessings & Joy, Fred
