The headlights on my 08 Patriot Thunder come on automatically with the ignition switch (which I'm sure is the case on most rigs), however, after pulling into Buffalo, Wy., the lights would not go out even with the keys in my pocket. The only way to turn them off was to physically unplug each bulb. We had just travelled from Jackson Hole via US 26 which is under major construction for approx. 5 miles. Could have all of the josteling thrown something out of whack?

Hi Larry,

In your front run box under the drivers seat look for a black relay that says Hamsar Solid State D.R.L. Module Made in Canada. This relay controls your daytime running lights, pull it and you should be good. I can't tell you the problems it caused me a few years ago. You only need it if you go to Canada.

Good luck,
