Air Force One Brake Parts

On our 280 mile trip the air line from the coach to the toad came loose. The female connector dragged on the end of the air line and ground down so that it is not usable.
I called SMI but could only leave a message as they were not available.
I looked all over town but no one had a quick connect coupler that small. We did determine it was a RECTUS (Parker) Type 21 connector.
Has anyone been able to find this part other that SMI. Hopefully I will get a call back from them tomorrow. We are on our way to the Escapade so I am hoping I can find one in Elkhart if not sooner. Thanks

I found air couplers on Ebay manufactured by a "Rectus" but no "Rexus." They can be purchased in stainless steel, brass, and plastic... with one way and two way air stops, high pressure and low pressure, and many different sizes apparently.

Bob,
I had the same thing happen to me. I called SMI and they told me they import the air line connectors from Germany. You have to get it from them. The new air line cost about $50.00.
I told them the connector threaded connection came apart. They said they had not had a problem like this before, but would look into it.
Hope this helps,
Bill

I was able to file down the inside edge on the connector today and get it hooked up. I also got this email from SMI today.
Bob,
Good morning we do offer replacements at 15.36 part # is 99613.
You can order these through us or a dealer, unfortunately I do not believe parts will be available at the Escapade.
Please feel free to contact me with any future questions or concerns.

Thanks we are pulling in for Bootcamp so we will be parked in that section. Wish I had remembered to ask about them today. Would you have the NAPA part number.

No I don't have P/N, it's been a couple of years ago.
Will check in AM as it's right next to Krogers and while DW goes shopping I'll check NAPA.
