I have a 2006 Marquis with the elec dump valves.  Have lost power to both the Gray and Black switches. Have checked the fuses by switches and they are good. Is there another fuse that would be common to power supply for both switches. Thanks for the help and thanks for the Forum.

I can't help you find a common hot wire, but if you power them up from another 12v source, do they work? I've had to remove the back panel to replace the valves, on my Patriot, the wiring is just a rat's nest back there. Remember, you can operate the valves manually using a flat-blade screwdriver (if original) or Allen wrench (if they have been replaced). I drilled a hole in the wet bay back panel and fashioned an extension to the allen wrench so I can get at that manual over ride easily. One thing you don't want to have not working!

If you can hear a click when you operate your switch, you probably have a gate that is stuck.  There really is no solution other than buying new valves.  I know some have been able to clean the valves and had them work for a short time, but normally they need to replace them.  You might try taking them out, cleaning them, then putting a light coating of Vaseline or some other such material on them, reinstall them and see if they will work.  They are not hard to replace.  I have had to replace a few in the 13 years I have owned my coach.  One suggestion is to make sure the tanks are empty.  I do this by un-leveling the coach to the passenger side (high), then after all flow has stopped by raising the driver side and lowering the passenger side.  This way, there is no fluid coming out of the coach when the valves are removed.  There is a lock nut on the back of valve and all 4 corners are attached.  Good luck.

Thanks for the advise..  i have also replaced the valves a few times. Have had my coach since  new.  I was dumping and all was well and then neither switch would work had to finish manually. Not getting any clicks at the valves. Also i do not see any lights in the receiver box. Will call Phase Four after he Holiday. They have been very helpful in the past.  Thanks for the help

I continue to have problems with these valves.

In the bathroom of my '06 is a run box that contains several black Intelletec panels of fuses for the interior lighting.  There is also a more conventional automotive fuse block with two columns of fuses.  On the right column, fourth fuse slot down from the top (third fuse down on mine) is a 10 amp fuse that controls the valves.  Check that one.
