hydraulic leveler hose repair

Hi,

I noticed hydraulic fluid on the front right leveler and traced it to what looks like a failed connector on the manifold.   

Is this a reasonably straight forward DIY repair, meaning have a new hose fabbed and then replace existing hose?

Jeff,
Yes, it is a fairly straight forward DIY repair  if you can remove and reinstall the hose. But if the hose disappears into a bundle of wires and hoses, it is usually easier to cab the old hose, leave it in place, and run a new hose through an easier more accessible route. However, the problem with this method is that since you do not have the old hose to take to the hose supply shop for duplication, and you are using different routing, it can be difficult to estimate the exact hose length that you will need.
