I was scanning through the Recall list at the top of this forum, and noticed multiple recalls on the "LPG Water Heater". I had previously skipped over that one because I don't have LPG water heating - however I read it this time, and it's actually about a recall on the AquaHot and HydroHot systems that use Webasto burner tubes. I have the AquaHot.

So now I wondering if this recall was ever done to my coach (if needed). Since it's had other owners, I'm not sure (have no paper work) if it was done or if it even applies to my coach.

Does any one know how to tell if the recall was done? What does the new part look like compared to the defective part? I don't know if all AquaHot/HydorHot units used the Webasto part or not, here is a link to what it looks like. I will be checking mine. http://www.rvhydronicheaterrepair.com/WebastoRecond.htm

The notice I attached says "2005 Patriot" but the identical recall is listed for the 2003-2005 Patriots and Marquis (maybe other models).

Also, there are some recalls on the Steering linkage/couplers (and other important things) so if you haven't looked at the recall list, I suggest you do so. (be sure to check under "Beaver" and "Beaver Coach" and "Monaco" as the recalls seem to be in multiple locations).

Also I found this document at the "SaferCar.Gov" https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls#vehicle website referenced in the recall notice, the but the effected serial numbers are hard to read - and the repair instructions (which are also hard to read). Anyways, here they are:

OKay - I can't post the letter from Monaco with the repair instructions. It's 2 bytes too large to attach here. You can get it at the link above. But it's a faded copy so it's hard to read.
