Leveling jacks .

Hi everyone , we owe a 2000 Beaver Patriot Ticonderoga 330 diesel . We just bought it from a individual and the jacks aren’t working . I’m pretty handy I’m retired from working in Power Plants as electrician I&C technician for 34 years . I’m wondering if anyone can get pointed in the right direction to do some troubleshooting ? I don’t know where anything is located yet . I’m assuming that each jack has its own Solenoid, and maybe two or 1 valves? If I could get a diagram showing everything I could probably get pretty far , and if anyone knows where any of these things are located in my Motorhome that would be a big help . Okay that’s enough . First we're going to need to know the manufacturer and model of your leveling system ie are they HWH or RVA or another make
Do you just have hydraulic leveling or air leveling as well.
In the coach assist section of the forum you will find some of the manuals for the leveling systems

With that we could surely help you out

Do a search on this forum for 'Beaver sits on its tail when parked'. You'll find an explanation of the air bag solenoid system along with photos of the photogenic '6 packs'. Much good info here.

on a 2000 Patriot you probably have an RVA J II leveling system with 3 jacks.  the  passenger side rear bay is approximately where  the hydraulic valve assembly , control circuitry and pump are located on my 2000 Patriot Thunder . For what its worth, there is a Jack control panel in the passenger side rear bay that control panel has 4 switches one for each of the jacks and a 3 position  switch to control the jacks or retract all. If that switch is in the on position (green light on) the remote control panel in the cockpit area is disabled.to use the remote control panel in the cockpit area  the jack control switch must be in the center position (no lights on). If that isn't the issue, can you operate the jacks from the rear bay control panel?

Thanks Keith, I actually got something from your comment . I’m completely new to operating these leveling jacks . So now I know if I’m working out on the passenger side rear bay , then the cockpit is disabled . I’m just wondering if my jacks like to work better after I’ve bleed out all the air from the air bags ?
