hWH bedroom slide
« on: September 12, 2021, 03:18:20 AM »
2006 Beaver Marquis  Bedroom slide passenger side hangs and does not operate smooth. When slide is all way out the end toward rear of coach does not go out as far as other end and the scissor  mechanism does not fold up as far as other end
are the rams supplied fluid from resivor in motor compartment  I did find some fluid
on floor on that side but just one time  when I put slide out I check for fluid but have never found any.  Any suggestions would be appreciated

Have you pulled the wood trim and cover plate off so you can see the mechanism?
Take a close look at the mounting points and cylinder attachment to see if anything is loose.
I replaced a hyd cylinder on one of my slides and during the process found several of the mounting bracket screws broken and loose.

Bobby
There is a service manual in the coach assist section for the HWH 310 room extension check out the troubleshooting section of that manual it should guide you to your problem

By the sounds of it you have had or still have a hydralic leak which has caused the system to go out of syncronization some of these systems use a syncronizing cylinder either way the manual should give you the procedure to get it back into syncronization again.

As Mike pointed out check all the hardware if the system runs too long out of sync it will rack the slide creating problems with hardware and the room can even jam .

Good luck
