Ours had to be replaced under warranty in 2007 when the coach was only a few months old. It failed on I-5 on the way to the Oregon service center and had to be towed the rest of the way there. Monaco Harrisburg didn’t like how the long hose was made and routed, and sent it out with suggested amendments to a local shop to be replicated out of better materials. You could do the same. It needs to properly clear engine bay components and be securely fastened in several places.
As a side note, the tow truck driver while under the rig had to call BCS on my phone; our service advisor talked him through the drive shaft disconnect. When it got to the service center, drive shaft parts were missing… in his rather anxious process, the driver had misplaced them. Monaco took care of it.
